What Is A Creation Story?
A creation story tells about the beginning of the world. There are various creation stories but the one most Christians embrace is found in the book of Genesis, the first book in the holy Bible. Here it says that God created the world and everything that is comes from God.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:3
As Christians, we want our kids to know their true origins. We were made in the image of God and our whole world was from his creative design. The biblical creation story for kids is so exciting. A powerful God uses his words to make things out of nothing. Amazing! As you teach your kids the short story of creation, you can use creative means such as books, craft and videos which we will explore further below.
